Her second album “32,000 feet above” was released in 2012 and received 3 nominations on the entry list of the 2013 Grammy Awards. The album was recorded in Franklin, TN with award-winning producer Robert Venable (former Evanescence drummer) and Philadelphia artist Kuf Knotz at Dark Horse Studios.
Sylvia went on to collaborate with the UK label Right Recordings, for the remix & release of her single “Distraction” by DJs “Loverush” and “Super stylers”. The track reached #14 on the UK commercial pop charts top 30. Her next single “High Speed Trouble” was recorded in London with Producer Stuart Epps (Elton John, Oasis) and was also released in the UK by Right Recordings.
A cover from The Who’s “Eminence Front” released in 2014 was followed in February 2015 by the Album “Overexposed” one of the most streamed indie releases, with nearly a million streams worldwide. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and London with producers/songwriters Robert Venable, Keaton Simons, and Stuart Epps. In 2015, she also went on to publish her first children’s book “Lester’s Planet” with German publisher Fischer Publishing followed by a publishing deal with Wooden Pants for the North American market.
Her next album “Dreams”, recorded in 2016, was co-written and produced in Los Angeles by Josh Ricchio. The title track, a remix of the Fleetwood Mac hit, stayed true to the original but brought its own unique sound. “Dreams” reached Number 2 on the US Adult Contemporary Downloads charts and Number 1 on the Adult Contemporary Streaming chart.
Sylvia’s music and activism were the inspiration for the feature film “Days of Power” which included Oscar-nominated actor Eric Roberts. The movie partnered with the Humane Society of the United States and rescues across the United States to bring awareness against animal cruelty and puppy mills.
In 2017 she supported Steven Tyler at the Laconia Festival in New Hampshire and toured both the East and West Coasts of the United States. In 2019, she released her fifth album “SOS” with UK label Right Recordings. The album was followed by her uplifting single “Smile” written and recorded in 2020 with UK producer Stuart Epps and French musician Jacky Mascarel.
In 2021, Sylvia recorded her album “Brand New Day” in Nice, in the South of France, with French Producer Georges Padey. The album features her first track in French “Je suis libre”. In September of that same year, her first book for YA of a trilogy “Ela Green and the Kingdom of Abud” was published by UK publisher Pegasus.
Her latest album, “My Universe” was released in January 2023 by Realize Records and produced by Georges Padey. The songs of the album are intimate in nature, talking about love and the challenges of relationships. Sylvia had the pleasure to collaborate once more with American, poet and rapper Kuf Knotz on two of the tracks “Let Me Dance” and “Chaos.” Most recently Sylvia has been preparing for performing at select tour dates in Europe and the US in support of the new recording and working on new literary and film projects.
